Hell Yeah

That friends, is a 6' Larry Mabile stinger that Richard Kenvin flowed as an unglassed blank to my girlfriend who then painted it as you see and RK had it glassed and there it is. Being as I'm incredibly untalented in those lines I'm in awe of people like those mentioned above and all their artistic genius. I sure can appreciate it all though.

Wow. Didn't even realize that was a board until I really looked at it. Beautiful work. What kind of paint did she use?

Shit, are you sure that isn't a picture of a fish and not a board!?

Wow and incredible. Question, did she paint on the hotcoat or the foam? It seems the stringer was painted, which is why I ask the question. Regardless, that is beautiful work. Like PT said, when I first looked at it, I didn't even realize it was a board. YES, I say.

Thanks folks- I'm pretty damn proud of it and I didn't have a damn thing to do with it other than making her a few cups of tea and keeping the dog entertained while she worked. She painted right onto the foam and used water based acrylics. Once glassed the colours on the thing really jump. She's a tattoo artist by trade (responsible for the Swift Movement logo too), hence the patience to do such a thing. There's another idea in the works which is pretty epic too, and I guess the plan is these will all be used in a show somewhere down the line.
